Scooby, the resident dog at Danny's Rim & Tire Shop, passed away this week. This is not remarkable-- it's a wonder that the ugly dog survived a thousand reckless Fourth Avenue tire changes and the rugged love of the shop's employees.
What's remarkable is that those employees made what they called "Memory Cards" for Scooby, which they handed out to neighbors passing by.
This reminds me that on the way from here to there, we're not just passing through.
