This song, this song

The best song is one about Hurricane Katrina that was written 20 years before the storm (Treme).

This is to say, the best song feels exactly like your life and my life and John Hiatt's life, even though you live in Portland and I live in New York and he lives on the road. It's about your youth and my old age, your Argentina and my Brooklyn, your river and my sea.

Joan Baez sings this song written by Josh Ritter. She's singing about him singing, but she's also singing about her singing. Then, when she's singing about her singing, she's also singing about me singing. I don't even sing but something happens.
