This song expresses a lot of what I felt this week:
Like Los Fabulosos, Bersuit Vergarabat stumbled onto ska and wrote some great songs in the crisis of the late 90s. Something about Argentina's economic frustration resonates with my life. It might just be all the commuting. I also really like how trabajar becomes travaillar, which is either a play on the latin yod, or french, or just cute.
Also, this song:
Enthusiastic celebration of a poor ethical decision. If you find a pile of pesos in Buenos Aires, you really shouldn't feel obligated to give it back.
Sos el unico rabioso que hay, esquivando la mirada =)
So, mom, you might have noticed that I changed the title of my blog. What's happening is that I can't write about travel any more, and without and guidance, I worry that I'll just start complaining about law school on the internet. The thing is, I love this music. Me conmueve. So Ima just type about it for a while, share a lil bit of my love.
