In early January, 2010, I packed up my apartment, left my job in Portland, said au revior to friends and family, and departed by train for Paris, France.
Rather than catch the Portland-Paris express, I will detour through Central and South America, from Buenos Aires to Capetown, and through Africa to Europe.
